On Wednesday 17th June, our Co-Founder Andre Hordagoda appeared on Sky News, hosted by Ian King. Ian King is a leading journalist, reporting live on the biggest business and economic stories across the UK. Andre discussed the future of retail, the re-opening of UK retail stores and how Go Instore is delivering the in-store experience, online to brands across the globe.
With the mandatory closure of retail stores due to the global pandemic, retailers were forced to rapidly adapt to drastically different circumstances. Naturally, retailers were concerned with how to deliver the in-store experience to an online channel without compromising customer service or the safety of their staff.
Luckily for them, Go Instore enables them to do just that! As retailers and customers adapt to this new channel of commerce, Go Instore continues to become an integral part of retailers’ digital strategy and customers ways of shopping.
“We have seen a 4000% increase in consumer usage on our client sites, ranging from Currys PC World Business, Mamas & Papas, Sofology, Brompton Bicycle … it is fantastic that Go Instore can support retailers at this difficult time”
said Go Instore Co-Founder, Andre Hordagoda. This figure is only expected to rise, with social distancing measures remaining in place indefinitely.
