Service Support Enginieer

We’re looking for a London based Service Support Engineer to work closely with our project managers and customers to provide support in the numerous technical aspects of our software service. This could be your first or second job, but you’ll need the maturity to work collaboratively and independent, both in the office and on site with clients across the UK, Europe and potentially further afield. Responsibilities:

  • Testing and troubleshooting customer networks as suitable to host our service (Firewall, Bandwidth, QoS, Range)
  • Sourcing and configuring hardware including mobile phones, tablets, SMART Glasses, PCs
  • Hardware maintenance and cataloguing (Internal and external hired)
  • Researching and evaluating the latest hardware to continuously improve our service by their use
  • Internal and client network infrastructure optimization for our service
  • First line technical support
  • Technical documentation – How to guides, FAQ, troubleshooting, knowledgebase etc
  • Real world testing – verification of new service accounts in the live environment

 

Required Skills:

  • Good knowledge of modern network administration and troubleshooting

o Firewall configuration

o Wi-Fi optimisation

o Network Protocols

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Passion for all things tech
  • Proven troubleshooting and problem solving skills
  • Highly organized with great attention to detail
  • Microsoft Office

 

Must have:

  • Valid Passport and ability to travel internationally

Junior UI/UX Design and Development

Mobile Developer

We’re looking for a London based, experienced, cross-platform (iOS/Android) developer with the initial task of extending our Android and Windows based technology to operate across iOS. Technical Experience:
If you lean towards one mobile platform, that’s fine – we are happy to have a specialist (iOS preferred). We would need you to have some commercial experience of the other and the ability to mentor more junior specialists in best practice and design principles. Ideally we are looking for developers with 3 years+ commercial mobile application development experience; but we are happy to chat to developers of all levels. You must be able to demonstrate intellectual curiosity, user-centric thinking, passion for pragmatic problem-solving and a huge drive for innovation whilst ensuring a calm, thoughtful, analytical and goal orientated approach in a high performing team. You will be working in a team of developers, or as the lone developer, within a project team made up of UI/UX, other developers, QA and project management specialists.

Essential Skills:

  • Proof of apps built for iOS/Android in respective stores
  • Passionate about Mobile development
  • Good all-rounder from front end to back end
  • Switch, Objective C, Java
  • Unit Testing
  • Experience of REST and JSON

Nice to have:

  • Experience with JIRA or Kanban and Git version control
